Manager, Publisher Monetization, Strategic Partner Development – Beijing
The primary responsibility of the Manager, Publisher Monetization is to manage
Google’s display advertising publisher network and business in China. You will
help publishers to implement monetization programs that maximize revenue yield
from their inventory using solutions such as Google’s AdSense for Content
Program and Google’s Ad Exchange. Google’s AdSense for Content Program uses
Google technology to target and match advertisements from its global network of
advertisers to a publisher’s content to maximize revenue for the publisher. You
will build, grow, and maintain relationships with major web publishers,
advertising networks, and advertising agencies across the region who use these
solutions.
As Manager of Publisher Monetization, you will be responsible for developing
strategies that best match our publisher solutions to publishers in China based
on market conditions, competitive dynamics, publisher needs, and product
capabilities. You will be responsible for building partnerships with key
publishers in the Chinese market. You will work with publisher sales experts who
can counsel publishers regarding how to best use Google’s AdSense for Content
Program and DoubleClick’s Ad Exchange to maximize revenue. Reporting to the
Director of Publisher Monetization, you’ll work cross- functionally, partnering
with marketing, sales, finance and product teams in China to ensure overall
success for Google in its display business in the region.
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred, with top-class academic performance. Business school graduate degree a plus.
At least 6 years of experience in business/partnership development and strategy. Experience in internet and/or media sectors strongly preferred.
General management abilities with proven experience to deliver results through cross functional interaction with sales, marketing, finance, product development and other functions strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to sell, evangelize and successfully implement programs around new technologies.
Ability to sell at senior level.
Ability to manage multi-market regional business and distributed teams.
Superior business sense, problem solving, senior relationship management, corporate strategy and negotiations skills.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with key publishers in China.
Maximize revenue from publisher partnerships for Google.

The primary responsibility of the Manager, Ad Exchange Buyside is to manage
Google’s AdX business in China. You will help large agencies, advertisers and ad
networks to implement seats on the Google Ad Exchange. Google’s AdX Platform
uses Google technology to target and match advertisements from its global
network of advertisers to a publisher’s content and audiences to maximize ROI
for the advertiser. You will build, grow and maintain relationships with major
advertising networks and agencies across the region who use these solutions.
As Manager of AdX Buyside, you will be responsible for developing strategies
that best match our advertiser solutions to agencies, advertisers and ad
networks in China based on market conditions, competitive dynamics, advertiser
needs and product capabilities. You will be responsible for building
partnerships with key partners in the Chinese market. You will work with
advertising sales experts who can counsel agencies, advertisers and ad networks
regarding how to best use Google’s Ad Exchange to maximize campaign results.
